Project Manager
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include
development, tracking, and reporting of project plans, schedules, and budgets,
as well as facilitating project team meetings and providing active project
oversight over tasks.
Specific Tasks:

Scheduling and
facilitating meetings with project team members providing counsel on the process
and priorities, negotiating conflicting viewpoints, and securing consensus as
appropriate.

Preparing project status
reports, including:

Project activities
completed during the current period
-
Project activities to be
completed during future periods
-
Potential project concerns
-
Preliminary
findings/recommendations as appropriate
Project schedule update
-
Assisting with defining
the requirements for tasks and services as well overseeing the completion of
assigned tasks and ensuring that work is complete according to established
agreement and time line.

Providing project
management oversight with time estimates, resource allocations, and managing
critical path and milestone deadlines.
-
Providing reporting on
project progress, analysis of optional solutions and findings and developing
plans for future actions.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Business/Application
Knowledge:

Ability to understand the
general business functions and goals of project.

Ability to communicate
with project teams in their business terms.

Ability to comprehend
relationships between business activities and application systems.

Has a working knowledge of
current technology platforms.

Experience with reviewing
business processes and recommending improvements.
Project Management
Knowledge:

Ability to determine
project objectives and scope of feasibility.

Ability to produce project
status reports on a timely basis, and alert project team of impediments to
progress.

Ability to facilitate
project meetings, and bring about consensus and negotiate conflicting
viewpoints.

Understanding of project
scheduling techniques, including task dependencies and critical paths.

Ability to monitor budget
and target date variances to keep projects on track.

Ability to handle multiple
responsibilities/projects with conflicting deadlines.

Ability to communicate,
orally and written, in a clear and concise manner.

Ability to meet difficult
deadlines, both individually and as a project team.

Solid experience with MS
Office, MS Project and other applicable computer tools.

Ability to use standard
methodology, tools and frameworks for developing and maintaining project
documentation, work plans and project deliverables.

Ability to develop,
maintain review and monitor project plans, recommend changes and report actual
progress against project schedules.
